A 1982 graduate of Case Western Reserve University Medical School of Cleveland Ohio, Dr.Parran is a nationally recognized expert in the practice of addiction medicine. He has written extensively on the subject for major medical journals and has been a frequent lecture at forums across the country. Certified by the American Society on Addiction Medicine, Dr.Parran currently serves as medical director in Continuing Medical Education at Case Western Reserve University. In 2008, he was named as the Carter and Isabel Wang Professor of Medical Education at CWRU. For more than two decades he has been Associate Medical Director at St.Vincent Charity Hospital’s Rosary Hall.
